Answers and pharmacy guidance
Frequently asked questions
Clear answers about prescriptions, delivery, pharmacy services and getting support.
01Returning unwanted medication
Because we provide distance-selling pharmacy services, medicines cannot be returned at the premises. You can take unwanted medicine to a local community pharmacy, or call us first so our team can arrange the safest return route.
Find an NHS pharmacy02NHS prescription charge exemptions
People under 16 or over 60 are normally identified automatically. For other exemptions, we may ask for the certificate type, number and expiry date when your prescription is received.
Check your eligibility or explore a prescription prepayment certificate through the NHS Business Services Authority.
Check NHS exemption information03Getting an emergency supply
If you run out of regular medicine and cannot reach your GP, call the pharmacy. A pharmacist will assess whether an emergency supply is appropriate or direct you to another service. Outside opening hours, contact NHS 111.
